Evolution of the loop pendant

This is the evolution of what I call the loop pendant.  It started with just a wire and then progressed to a loop that was later shaped into various forms.  This has happened over 7 years.

This is the pendant for which the practice silver piece was made.  This is a sub-carat rosecut diamond.  The side stones are Sapphires. The jump rings connecting the  sapphire "pendants"  are white gold as well as the "collar" ring.  The rest of the body of the pendant is 18K yellow gold.  This was a design created for Sheldon Gate Jewelry in Kauai.  This the fourth in a series of diamond pieces in gold.  This is the first one that has incorporated colored stones as well.

This set is a custom creation for the Bondurant sisters.  This is a new concept for me; the matching single earring and pendant set.  I think it is a great alternative to standard matching earrings. I hope to make more of them. The designs have been hand engraved.  Both of these are sold.  Enjoy!!!

Study for 14k sapphirre and diamond pendant

This pendant is a practice in silver for an 18k gold one that I am going to make tomorrow.  I call this style a loop pendant, because it starts by soldering a length of wire into a loop.  Once soldered, the pendant is then formed.  The center stone is a burmese botryoidal tourmaline cabachon provided by gem-faire of New Jersey.  The side stones are 4 mm sphenes (titanite).   All of the jump rings are 14k gold.  All joints of the frame have been soldered to provide strength to this piece.  This pendant is available.  Price is available upon request.   Enjoy.  -Andy
